Fresh Start provides a range of training for Students, Staff Members and External Agencies. We have positive links with a number of colleges throughout the country, and provide Student Work Placements, where possible, throughout the year in our Residential Centres. Our experienced Staff are happy to supervise these placements and have, in the past, assisted many Students through to qualification and employment with us.
All newly qualified Staff commencing work with us will undergo a Six Month Induction Training programme. This programme has been highly praised by Monitoring Officers and the Registration and Inspection Service since its commencement, and assists new staff members in learning and developing with the help of dedicated and experienced Mentors.

To create a greater understanding of the causes, behaviours, the need to provide safe management to the children/young people and treatment options.
To assist in the identification, understanding, management and treatment of children/young people with eating disorders.
To provide staff members with the knowledge to do this safely, and be able to report appropriately to medical staff when required.
