Dr. Ben Charnaud is a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with expertise in assessing and treating children, adolescents, as well as adults, who present with various mental challenges. Dr. Charnaud's work often addresses drug and alcohol issues, as well as various aspects of individual personalities who may be experiencing mental challenges.
The following can be identified from Dr. Charnaud's assessment:
- Acute or chronic psychosis
- Presence of psychopathology
- Behavioural and medical challenges and presentations
- Contributing factors from personal and environmental backgrounds
- Identification of short-term and long-term recommendations
In addition to the assessment and treatment of the aforementioned population, Ben offers debriefing and support services for the individuals under assessment, as well as those who may be responsible for their care. In this way, strategies for future care can be identified.
