Therapeutic Services
Fresh Start is a care environment which addresses the needs of children and young people. Those needs may require therapeutic intervention either directly or indirectly.
A number of professional services are endemic to each of the children's and young person's care plan who reside with Fresh Start. These services include psychiatry, forensic and clinical psychology, and play therapy. Other therapeutic services are also available depending on the specific needs of the child or young person. Direct psychiatric and psychological intervention takes place with the children and young people through assessment and therapeutic sessions.
Indirect behaviour modification also takes place for every child and young person through integrated care planning which takes place between each care team and the aforementioned services on a consistent basis throughout the child or young person's life with Fresh Start.
Therapeutic assessment, support, intervention and development are at the very centre of each child or young person's life within Fresh Start.
